Blind-Centered Audio Description Chat is teaming up with Social Audio Description Collective to host a watch and listen party featuring the short audio described films Impaired Volumes 1 and 2 by brothers Carmen and Antonio Papalia. The films explore mutual care and the cultivation of cannabis for pain relief. Oliver Baker wrote the audio description, and Thomas Reid narrated both. We’ll play the films and then chat with Carmen and Antonio about the process of collaborating on the audio description with SADC. BCAD is co-hosted by Nefertiti Matos Olivares, Thomas Reid, and Cheryl Green.
