Cheryl to co-present at webinar on accessibility policy for librarians

The Library Accessibility Alliance (LAA) and the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) will host an online discussion about making works accessible for people with disabilities in alignment with the ADA Title II and the European Accessibility Act (EAA). The webinar, Accessibility Policy with Librarians and Representatives of the Publishing Industry, will be on March 24 at 10 a.m. Eastern.

Distinguished panel includes:

  • Simon Holt, Head of Content Accessibility for Elsevier
  • Cheryl Green, Streaming Manager and Webmaster for New Day Films
  • Amber Russell, Principal Product Manager, Accessibility & Globalization for EBSCO Ebooks

The conversation will be co-hosted by:

  • Sara Belmont, Assistant Director of Library Communications, Web and Design, William and Mary Libraries, and Co-Chair of the Library Accessibility Alliance
  • Katherine Klosek, Director of Information Policy and Federal Relations, Association of Research Libraries (ARL)
